*學校計畫:The School Project is an initiative that seeks to build a small cluster of high-performing municipal schools, that redefines what is possible for children from some of the poorest slum communities in Pune and Mumbai, and has the potential for wider systemic reform. These schools are a partnership with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Thermax Social Initiatives Foundation (TSIF) in Pune; and with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) in Mumbai.
With the effective management of these schools, Akanksha hopes to bring about transformation in three major areas of education. The first is to prove that every child has the ability to learn and achieve at high levels. The second is to demonstrate the importance of skilled educators by investing the majority of the school's resources into the recruitment and retention of high-quality school staff. The last, long-term objective is to effect systemic reform by using these schools as learning laboratories to improve the quality of education in municipal and low- fee private schools around the country.
*訓練:Akanksha attracts, trains and retains diverse individuals to teach at Akanksha. Teachers go through a one-month induction program in classroom instruction and service. All Akanksha teachers have in-service training for the duration of their time at Akanksha. Training topics include classroom management, teaching language and math, setting goals and planning a timetable, and songs and stories. The Akanksha staff goes on an annual service and goal-setting retreat.
All of Akanksha’s curricula and programs have been made into easy-to-use manuals which Akanksha is happy to share.

2.組織名稱:Aseema Charitable Trust
組織簡介:Aseema is a Sanskrit(梵文) word which means "limitless", a word that captures a child's spirit which can soar in the right environment. Aseema is committed to provide just this environment to street and underprivileged children of India.
Despite making formidable advances in technology, we find that about half of the total child population of India does not attend school. Goldman Sach's now famous study which projects India to be the third largest economy, after the US and China, by 2030, has this to say "India has the most work to do in primary education…. it is high time that an educational emergency is declared."
Aseema is a non-governmental organization, registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act whose mandate is to protect and promote human rights of underprivileged children and women. It was established in 1995 and is located in Bandra, Mumbai.
Aseema draws inspiration from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) which recognizes the right of every child to education. Aseema's firm belief is that education is the right of every child. The Government of India has committed to make primary education free and compulsory for all children. Yet this commitment has been left grossly unfulfilled. Even amongst children who do initially enroll in school, most do not continue with formal education and often give up their pursuit altogether.
Aseema focuses on providing quality and relevant education and inculcating in underprivileged children a desire to learn and to continue and complete their studies in an educational institution.
Mission Statement
To provide underprivileged children with a nurturing and stimulating educational environment that helps them recognize their limitless potential.

計畫:
 *支援NGO:For an NGO, the most valuable asset is its commitment to a cause. What it often lacks are funds and professional expertise. With neither of these, NGOs are severely crippled in carrying on their core activities i.e. providing education, health facilities, vocational training and shelter to the needy. Concern India Foundation's primary activity is to provide them with this essential support.
 *舉辦一些活動,以獲得營運組織或協助NGO所需的資金:
1)Child Art Exhibition - All India Activity
 A showcase for the artistic talents of underprivileged children
 An annual exhibition of paintings by children who live in slums or on the streets and have no formal training
 The exhibition is held regularly through some of our offices. The proceeds from the sale are given directly to the participating NGOs.
2)Concern's NGO Mela – Mumbai Activity
 The NGO Mela is an exhibition of exclusive home and personal accessories, apparels, collectibles & gifts brought to you by over 100 NGOs from all over the country.
 To offer an opportunity for donors to explore prospective project matches
3)Sports Day for Project Children - All India Activity
 The Sports day is designed to provide the children from various NGOs an opportunity to compete, in a positive and healthy environment of sporting fun.
 It enhances their feeling of self-worth and self-confidence, also at the same time allows them to be children - as children should be !!!
 This sporting event includes running race, sack race, tug of war, potato and spoon race, sprinting, etc.

1.組織名稱:Mumbai Mobile Crèches-future under construction
組織簡介:MMC is the only NGO in Mumbai that focuses on children of migrant construction workers, estimated to be over 80,000 in number.
Mumbai Mobile Creches (“MMC”) is a well established organization that aims to transform child care arrangements and services, especially those on construction sites. Its mission is to support child-friendly sites – where children are safe, healthy and educated. This is done by running demonstration centres of comprehensive(詳盡、全面的) child development, training community women as well as other organizations in early child education and care, and linking with resource providing organizations to influence the policy environment. Over the last three decades, MMC has developed and pioneered a model that supports the development of the very young child, frees young children from the burden of looking after younger siblings, helps children applying to school and ensures they stay in school. Such an approach – which has the needs of young children at its core – creates the foundations for healthy development and overall growth of our society. When nations and communities invest in their children, they invest in the future of current(潮流、趨勢) as well as coming generations.
